The Nest, by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney

Find in catalogThe Nest is about an extremely dysfunctional family’s lives and how it revolves around what they call “the nest.” The nest is an inherence fund that matured over the years to be handed out on the 40th birthday of the youngest of the four children. The initial purpose of the late date was to prevent the children’s reliance on the money, but the reality was far more complicated. The way this family is makes even the craziest families seem a little tamer and it’s extremely entraining and captivating to see how it all worked out for better or worse (same can be said for the book).
