The Girl on the Train, by Paula Hawkins

Find in catalogThis character-driven British thriller slowly builds suspense and picks up speed like the trains featured in the book. Rachel, the main narrator spies an anamoly with the couple she fantasizes about on her daily route. Thus begins the unraveling of interrelated characters hiding unseemly secrets. These secrets crisscross and ultimately lead to tragedy and a denouement not expected until two other narrators are introduced later in the book. Great read.
