Blood Will Out by Walter Kirn

Find in catalogWalter Kirn has some amazing turns of phrase (and some clunky ones). I’m not sure I buy his premise that the killer he describes in his book acted out of literary inspiration as Walter posits. This author (who also wrote “Up in the Air”) befriended someone he thought was an fascinating and eccentric Rockefeller, only later to find the guy was a con man and a murderer. An interesting look at being fooled that says as much about Walter as it does about “Clark Rockefeller.”
