Gardens in the dunes : a novel by Leslie Silko

Find in catalogThis book was interesting with the historical fiction aspect. It is a story of a young Native American girl that is separated from her family and adopted by a white woman and her botanist husband. The young girl travels the world with her new family but always wished to find her sister and mother whom she was separated from. She finally meets her sister again. In the end she stays with her sister, not the woman who nurtured and cared for her as her own. Good book but the ending seems abrupt!
