I Feel Bad About My Neck and Other Thoughts on Being a Woman by Nora Ephron

I Feel Bad About My NeckI picked this audiobook off the buzzfeed “books guaranteed to make you laugh out loud” list and actually relatively enjoyed it, especially in comparison to the two other books I picked off that list. I feel that one gets so much more out of a book when it is read out loud by the author; one gets inflection and emotion; over all making the book more enjoyable and meaningful. Nora Ephron has a wonderfully dry sense of humor when sharing the ups and downs of her life. Given that she’s my grandmother’s age, while her wisdom is great; her book may be more accessible and understandable for those of her age. I am definitely going to have to watch “When Harry Met Sally” now that I am more aware of how great a woman is behind it.
