Lo, Michael by Grace Livingston Hill

Lo, MichaelIf you like romance novels with graphic sexual scenes, Mrs. Hill does the job. One caveat – the characters are real if you place them back 100 years, for this is when most of her books were published. This book is about a young slum NYC boy who saves the life of a rich little girl. In gratitude, the father sends him to a preparatory school. The boy loves the girl all the time, but class differences keep them apart. Read to find how their romance blossomed.
