The Users by Brian Case

While the dialogue in this book and the descriptions are both humorous and visual, the story just seems convoluted, I wouldn’t put this one in my list of favorites. While the chapter in which one of the characters returns some library books is worth the read, this 60s beatnik novel is hardly a classic.
It seems like the type of book that gets passed around at a slam poetry reading. Thankfully, Case kept this one under 200 pages.
