Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet: a novel by Jamie Ford

This is the story of two young Asian Americans in Seattle during WWII.  The in depth look at the treatment of Japanese Americans and their internment during the war is very well researched and engaging. Overall the story is a bit contrived, but it holds the reader’s attention and gives voice to an overlooked piece of American history.
